Chelsea Manning seeks Maryland U.S. Senate seat: election filing


WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Chelsea Manning, the transgender U.S. Army soldier who served 7 years in penal institution for dripping categorized information, is looking for the Democratic Celebration’s election for the United States Senate seat from Maryland, inning accordance with Federal election filings seen on Saturday.

Manning, who was approved clemency by previous U.S. President Barack Obama, was launched in May from a U.S. penal institution in Kansas where she had actually been serving time for passing tricks to the WikiLeaks site in the most significant breach of categorized information in the history of the United States.
